Jónas Margeir is a creator, writer and lawyer, is ACT4’s CEO. Prior to founding ACT4, Jónas Margeir completed a mag. jur. degree and has served as lawyer and advisor to many of Iceland’s largest film and TV productions. Furthermore, he has been the creator and/or writer of highly successful TV series. He’s also a pilot.Jónas Margeir has a severe interest in spreadsheets. He believes that (way too) thorough financial planning is the key to any production's success. Although he enjoys writing with screenwriting software, he has actually been known to invite his co-writers to draft stories in a spreadsheet.He lives in Mosfellsbær (just outside of Reykjavík) with his partner, two daughters and Tesla, the Icelandic sheepdog.
