Hörður is a producer and creator, has a long-standing experience within the international TV industry as a creative and financing producer. As an ex footballer in the Icelandic Premier League he’s a team player and a firm believer in collaborative processes and co-productions. He has worked hard to trim his height and hair in order to better fit the planes, trains and automobiles needed to visit the various markets and festivals he attends every year.Hörður is without a doubt one the most successful Icelandic producers in the field of internationally financing productions. Through his work he has brought to the screen many award-winning films and TV series.Hörður serves as an executive producer and creator at ACT4. He lives in Kópavogur with his wife, two daughters, one son and a dog. Apparently, everyone in the ACT4 team has a dog. We have nothing against cats though.
